2 a : a musical modulation b : a musical passage leading from one section of a piece to another
The best transitions are smooth, styled, and unlike most things, go unnoticed. The aim of this show is not to force feed listeners, but to simply put music in the air around them. Gaudy hook drops and abrupt changes in style or feeling disrupt thought rather than support it. The styles will vary from week to week, but all in all the music will flow together. Requests will be heard, but may not immediately fit into the mix.
