WTSC Sports is headed to the Albany area to cover the Women’s Hockey games this weekend. Clarkson will play on Friday Night at 6:00PM against Union. Our coverage will begin at 5:40PM with the Pregame Show. The broadcast will end on 91.1 FM following the first period to make way for the Men’s Hockey game back at Cheel, but we will continue calling the game on the Sports Extra Feed. We are back in action on Saturday Afternoon for the first leg of a Clarkson Hockey Doubleheader. The Women will play RPI at 3:00PM. Our coverage will begin at 2:40PM with the entire game broadcast on 91.1 FM and radio.clarkson.edu/stream-info/. Sports Director Jeremy DeSalvo and Ponce Rivas have you covered for the Women’s games this weekend while Luke Dalton and Natalie Hooper are back in Potsdam for the Men’s Hockey Games against North Dakota.

Clarkson Women’s Hockey is on the road this weekend, and we are going with them. Join Jeremy DeSalvo and Natalie Hooper on the call as Clarkson faces some of their toughest teams they will face this year. Friday Night’s Game Coverage will start at 5:40PM with Puck Drop at 6:00PM from the Class of 1965 Arena in Hamilton. Coverage will begin on the FM Stream, moving to the WTSC Sports Overflow Stream at the conclusion of the first period due to a Conflicting Mens Hockey Game. The overflow stream can be found at radio.clarkson.edu/stream-info/ . Saturday Afternoon’s game coverage will start at 2:40PM with Puck Drop at 3:00PM from Historic Lynah Rink. Saturday will also be a doubleheader, with Clarkson Men’s Hockey hitting the airwaves at 6:30PM. You can catch every home hockey game live on WTSC 91.1FM and radio.clarkson.edu. There will likely be three more away games on air this year not including playoffs, including Two Women’s Games, and a Men’s game.

This weekend, Clarkson Women’s Hockey will recognize nine seniors and grad students this weekend, celebrating one of the best graduating classes that Clarkson has ever had on their team. Sports Director Jeremy DeSalvo, and Analyst Alex Wright will be on the call this weekend on our FM Broadcast in Potsdam, or online on our web stream. The pregame show on Friday will take place at 5:40 PM, with the puck drop at 6:00 PM. We will start 10 minutes earlier on Saturday for a tribute to our seniors. The Pregame show will start at 2:30 PM on Saturday, and Puck Drop is at 3:00 PM. Playoffs will be here soon. More announcements to come on playoff coverage as we get closer. Congratulations to Michelle Pasiechnyk, Jaden Bogdan, Kirstyn Mcquigge, Alexie Guay, Nicole Gosling, Anne Cherkowski, Brooke Mcquigge, Darcie Lappan, and Dominique Petrie. This weekend, the Women Golden Knights are dedicating their game vs. Dartmouth University on January 24th to raise awareness for the New Tough Pact. Both hockey teams have partnered with the Headway Foundation for the past three seasons to promote a safer sports culture surrounding concussions. They are challenging our student athletes at Clarkson and around the Potsdam community to think differently about concussions, so join them in redefining what it means to be tough.
